Faithdean have just completed the refurbishment of the 7th floor at Devonshire House in the west end of London, as part of our works we were tasked with installing a featured Onyx screen and feature Kinon panels around the lift lobby and reception walls. These 2 items of the works were the items with the highest impact not only on the programme but with the very demanding client so they had to be of the highest quality.
The feature panels were manufactured in America and the Onyx in Italy but both companies did not supply any Stainless Steel fixing channels, Faithdean contacted Excel to undertake these elements of the works.
Excel understood our client’s needs and took to the task of designing and manufacturing both frames with passion and enthusiasm, they held work shop meeting with our designer and the client’s designer to reach an understanding.
Excel delivered both sets of framework on time and to the highest standard even managing to incorporate extras along the way this lead to a snag free job and a very satisfied client.

Excel Architectural Engineering Ltd carried out a number of bespoke metalwork items for us for a private residence in Oxfordshire, including the supply and installation of a steel staircase to tight tolerances. They have supplied similar work for a number of projects for us and we have always found Chay and his team to be very helpful and easy to work with. They know their product and the materials they work with very well and understand our keen eye for detail, which is reflected in the high quality of the work they have done for us.
